Close proximity to train station.
Difficult to find. Map from Booked.net was incorrect. Maps with street names would be good. Consider written directions. Laundry was a bit difficult, consider a combined washing and dryer machine.

The hotel is right next to Kyoto station and the new mall. There are some great restaurants in the hotel but you can always go to Kyoto station for some really great food at cheap prices. The staff were helpful in changing our room when we checked in as they noticed that the room I had booked online would not suit my partner and I. I was really impressed with their pro activeness. Don't expect a large room, most hotels in Japan offer just a room with a bed and toilet area, that's normal. I was too busy sightseeing and using my room for sleeping to care about the size.
My partner and I were not very comfortable sleeping on the pillow provided. If I was staying a little longer at the hotel, I would have asked for another pillow. It would be great to have an extra pillow in the room in case it's needed. The daily breakfast Japanese buffet breakfast was part of my room charge and it was great. I was a little rushed because breakfast starts at 7 am and my tours started at 7.20am across the road at a nearby hotel. It would have been nice to relax while eating in the morning, or have the breaky start at 6 or 6.30am. As I said the food was great tho.
